Bradley Downes meets Mark Knopfler in Newcastle 2008 KTGC Tour
I wish some day kiss mark knophler's hands. He is non repeatable
Mark has been spending all his days in the studio. One reason is such a thing can be addictive (in a good way). The other is his tremors are increasing little by little. Do it while you can sort of thing, I guess.
He went down hill with every solo thing. I mean no one listens to crap. Everyone listens to diar straights. Quit trying to reinvent the wheel. You suck solo.
What an obvious douchebagger.
He rocking a Speedy Pro there?? What a guy!!!
A True Hero !!
That tv guy hasn't got an ounce of sensitivity has he?
Big respect for Mark Knopfler one of greatest musician in the world 👏👏👏
BBC are lucky to have this legend on there show. As bbc are a shit show ..., what a guy ❤
One of the absolute best human beings ever. I've been listening to his music since he started. My first ever album was a cassette tape of Brothers in Arms that I played to death. Great memories of watching him, and all the greats, on TV at Live Aid way, way, back in 1985.
Been a Steve Earle fan since the 80s..he used to a national treasure…
I'd never have reconised him. He looks better now than he ever has.
Music is truly universal. I knew "Big Rock Candy Mountain" when I was a kid in the western U.S. Surprised & pleased me to hear that Mark knew this, too!😊
Mark Knopfler..SALUT. 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘
Only true guitar heroes can give their guitar a distinctive voice and Knopfler is right up there with Gilmour as one of the greatest ever. Seems like such a down to earth guy for all his talent
Mark, I love you since 1978. ❤
71 here. These interviews of classic musicians who reflect on their lives and the eras they live in are among my favorites! The golden era of rock and roll, it was a great time to be alive!
How the interviewer dare to tell Mark Knopfler "you could make a ton of money" if Dire Straits re-unite for few concerts! Musicians of such talent don't live for money. They live for music with the joy of sharing with their public!
What a fantastic man Mark is, what super trooper. I love listening to his music with Dire Straits and looking forward to his new album. Chris UK.
Mark is a great human being, best musician ever. The first notes from his guitar on a concert🙏🎸 went to so much concerts of him from early eighties. Brothers in Arns tour and concert Werchter was magnificent ❤
Always been a big Dire Straits fan. I guess Mark doesn't need the headband any more
This man is just to big to be only British
Mark is happy being himself. No need to prove anything to anyone. Huge respect.
My favorite guitarist. 🎉
O artista que emociona ; sensacional...
I'm thrilled that Mark is still turning them out!
Is that still Franklin on the peddle steel
I grew up with the uk rave scene Dreamscape fantasia Helter-skelter I loved it but once I turned 30 I cant stand it anymore I know love listening to our countries finest Dire straits iron maiden etc and this music hits me like a brick emotionally spiritually without sounding weird. Modern music is fraudulent at least back in the day they wrote their own lyrics music no autotune no ghost writers just pure raw talent and im so grateful to be British such a small country yet are titans in music and it gives makes me tear up. I hear Americans saying marks overrated so is all british music but if you show pride in Britain you always have people put you down Americans mainly but if we put them down the same way they wouldn't like it id never put American music down the way some have recently. I listen to marks music everyday his guitar skills are enough to put goosebumps all over me. And to see he auctioned off all his guitars for charity come on whats not to respect.
Still such a lovely man. I love how he's grown older with the rest of us of his generation. We still identify from then and now.
Un musicien génial le meilleur ❤
Much respect to a man that wanted to know all the people working on their shows.
Wow! We listened to him sooooo much, his rifs and lyrics were legendary he will for ever be on of the greatest
no chance for Dire straits to show again 😢
the sultan of swing ❤
Niceinterview. MK is always so humble.
The only guitarist I ever saw live. I swear he sounded better live than in the studio recordings!!
I’m a guitar player and not many songs have moved me like ‘Going Home’. I always considered the song an artistic masterpiece.
His speaking voice ks just as lovely as his singing voice! We ?OVE you Mark. may you live till 107! or more
I lovedbig rock candy mkuntain and made rock candy in a jar because of the song.
The goat 🎸
Most under rated country singer, songwriter, ever. Dude is a rock John Prine haha love him
Mark Knopfler is one of the all time greats . True son of the north east and the north in general .
Thank you for all the great music and love you’re still in it. Bravo!
🤩Simplesmente amável...sempre!! 💋❤🔥💯💥❣
So amazing to see Mark Knopfler, as an 'old bloke'. What a truly great human being. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent Mr Knopfler.
La normalidad y humildad, hecha persona. Grandioso y admirado.
Great person he is. Love his music. I think in some of his songs, he shows his sense of humour. Industrial Disease is a classic example: " Doctor Parkinson declared 'I'm not surprised to see you here!! You got smoker's cough from smoking, brewer's droop from drinking beer!! I don't know how you got that Bette Davis wheeze, but worst of all young man, you've got Industrial Disease!! "
Nashville loves this guy. The late George Jones, and Jonny Cash were fans of Mark. A amazing guitar player.
Can't believe how old he's starting to look but damn he's so authentic at the same time and he hasn't let the music industry take hold of his mental state. absolute legend.
Whatever form of music this man creates is pure perfection.
You beautiful songwriter and friends.
Did I detect a little bit of hand tremors in Mr K? Parkinsons? I hope to hell it isn't. That would so very very cruel.
